Bhutan

A Jewel in the Himalayas
DESCRIPTION:

Hidden deep in the folds of the Himalayas for years, Bhutan developed its own civilization.

Here people live in close harmony with nature and have evolved a unique identity derived mainly from their rich religious and cultural heritage.

Its untouched culture, pristine ecology and wildlife, along with the unparallel scenic beauty of its majestic peaks and lush valleys... adorns it to a Magical Kingdom of the past.

BEST TIME TO VISIT:

March to May: Best time for flowers in Bhutan. The Jacaranda blossoms at Punakha Dzong in mid-May. Flowers are in full bloom.

September to November: Fall is another high and crowded season for Bhutan. The mild weather in autumn makes it a perfect time to visit Bhutan. Thimphu Festival usually takes places at the end of September or early October.
