My Egypt Trip

 

End of March 2015 will be a memorable time in our life. During that time my wife and I took our trip to the cradle of civilization, Egypt. The ten days trip was arranged completely by JetSetGo Tour and Travel Partner. It started at Cairo on day 1, day 2 being in the Bahariya Oasis along with White and Black desert. Days 3 and 4 back in Cairo with the majestic Great Pyramids, Sphinx and the antiquity museum.

 

 

The day ended at Khan el-Khalili, the great and boisterous souk in Cairo. The Egyptian pizza for dinner at the ‘Gad’ restaurant was a gastronomic experience. The next day we flew first class to Aswan with a day trip to Abu Simbal. All the security protocols were taken care of by the tour guide and we had army escorts all the way. It was a great experience. A detailed tour of the Aswan followed the next day with the unfinished obelix, temple of Philea and of course the great dam. The next three days were in a luxury cruise ship from Aswan to Luxor with stops at Kom Umbu and Edfu to see the temples and ruins there. The cruise was very relaxing with nothing to do but eat and look at the lazy blue Nile. The cruise ended at Luxor with visit to the Luxor temple and Karnak Temple on horse carts. It was an amazing experience all along.

 

Our trip ended with a quick pit stop at the capital city Cairo before we flew back home. We still remember each and every step of our trip and long to go back again. And if we do, we would definitely

I had a couple of lovely experiences of taking custom packages from Jet Set Go. What I loved was their flexibility in meeting my requirements (of traveling with kids) and customizing their packages, to ensure, we not only had a good coverage of the tourist spots but it was so very comfortable. Their choice of hotel, the vehicle and the planning of the travel days was meticulous and on both occasions, their representative was there to warmly welcome us and stayed in touch to iron out any small wrinkle.

It was a welcome break from the Catch 22 situation of either landing with a rigid package or paying through your nose!

Our elder daughter finished her ICSE and this Bhutan trip had been a surprise for both my daughters .Leaving behind a very much bustling schedule of both mine and of my wife,we had been waiting for this break eagerly.All of us needed to unfold.
